[DriveTest Closures] Grey (Lockdown) Level at Brampton, Downsview, Etobicoke, Metro East, Mississauga and Port Union DriveTest Centres

Effective November 23, 2020 all road tests at the Brampton, Downsview, Etobicoke, Metro East, Mississauga and Port Union DriveTest centres will be cancelled without penalty. 

Customers affected by the Grey (Lockdown) level cancellations are strongly encouraged to avoid non-essential travel and wait to reschedule their road test. Customers should avoid rescheduling their road test at DriveTest locations in Red, Orange, Yellow or Green levels. 

Inside services at these centres continue with capacity and COVID-19 preventative measures in place.

All driver examination services are available at DriveTest Centres located within the Red, Orange, Yellow and Green levels. Please check our website periodically for further updates on licensing services. 

No one will lose their current driver's licence due to this decision and no one will lose their test fees as a result of the road test cancellations. Under the temporary regulations, all driver's licences, including temporary driver's licences and Driving Instructor's licences, that expired on or after March 1, 2020, are automatically extended until the temporary regulations are revoked.

Customers must bring their own face covering to wear when visiting a DriveTest Centre and during road tests scheduled to take place at lower level centres (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green).
